April Sutton is an award-winning Television Broadcast Pioneer in Hollywood. She became the youngest Inductee in the Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 1993 for her outstanding television reports on Black Entertainment Television (B.E.T.) Network.

More than 40 million TV viewers have watched her entertainment reports covering the Oscar Awards, Grammy Music Awards, Emmy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, American Music Awards, Hollywood Movie Premieres, and Red-Carpet gala events.

The Ohio native became the first hired Hollywood on-air talent for B.E.T., as the "Face of Hollywood" for 10 years, which sealed her name as part of BET's early history.

To further show her dedication beyond the chair, she has produced her own

in a class she has taught at a number of Beauty colleges. As a teacher, she
instills her motto of being a one-stop shop “where flavor, flair and genuine
care set the standards for great hair.”

She styles wardrobe and does makeup, in addition to hair care and has the

Born and raised in the Fordham section of the Bronx, Garayua is of Puerto Rican heritage. She is a graduate of Long Island University and presently resides in Los Angeles. She is a classically trained pianist and is a sister of Sigma Iota Alpha, a Latina collegiate sorority. In 2005 she served as the Grand Marshall of the annual 2005 Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade held on that borough's famous Grand Concourse.
