The daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali— one of millions of Americans who suffer from Parkinson’s—fills host Cosandra Calloway in on her Nov. 28 standup showcase at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, seeking to raise awareness and research funds for the disease.

The eldest daughter of Muhammad Ali, Maryum “May May” Ali will be hosting a Stand-up Comedy Show fundraiser to raise money for Parkinson’s Disease (PD) Research on Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 8:30 to 11:00 PM at The Comedy Store (8433 Sunset Blvd., LA, CA 90066.) Tickets are $30 and can be purchased on-line at http://teamparkinson.kintera.org/knockoutpd10. Muhammad Ali and one million Americans are suffering with PD. May May is often approached by her father’s fans who want to know how “The Champ” is dealing with PD. She has graciously given them updates on her father’s condition, because the Ali family appreciates the love and support people have shown him over the years. May May is available for interviews before the “Knock Out Parkinson’s Comedy Show.” In addition to informing the public about how her father and family have dealt with PD for 30 years, she wants to inspire others with PD by giving important information and resources for them, their families and caregivers.
