Love That Girl is TV One's first original scripted series. After a
limited test run of four episode, first aired as a "three night
programming
event" in January 2010, the show was given a 26-episode order, as
announced in October 2010. A month later, on November 21, the show's
producers announced through their Facebook account that the series would
be returning on January 10, 2011
