The 1994–95 New York Knicks season was the 49th season for the team in the National
Basketball
Association (NBA). In the regular season, the Knicks posted a 55–27
record in the Atlantic Division and finished in second place, two games
behind the
Orlando Magic.
By earning the third seed in the Eastern Conference, New York qualified
for the NBA Playoffs for the eighth consecutive season.
In the first round of the 1995 NBA Playoffs, the Knicks faced the
sixth-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers, and won the series three games to one,
advancing to the conference semifinals. The Knicks lost the series to
the Indiana Pacers, 4–3
